Halloween Pictures
We had a great time trick-or-treating this year except for getting rained on. Vince and Morgan didn't care, all they wanted was candy. Morgan kept saying "more tandy" every time we went to a house. Below are pictures of Vince as Optimus Prime from Transformers and Morgan as Eeyore (my favorite costume ever, thanks Christi!). I'm looking forward to next year already.

Fever free
Morgan has officially been fever free for 48 hours and no longer contagious. However, she has a rash all over her torso and part of her face. The nurse on the phone and I decided it was Fifth Disease. I am thankful that she no longer has a fever but she is rather irritable with the rash. The nurse did tell me that she could have the rash for two weeks. She is on the mend and hopefully will be 100% in the next couple of weeks.

I've got a fever of 103...
...actually, it's 102.9 and it's Morgan. Friday night she woke up screaming and I went into her room and picked her up, she was burning up. I couldn't find the thermometer but I knew she had a very high fever. I gave her medicine and when she woke up she was better with 99.7 temperature. I thought she was on the road to recovery until later that afternoon she reached 101.2. I decided she needed to go to the doctor to find out if she had the flu. She was tested and no flu (thank goodness). Later that night after she had been asleep for 5 hours she woke up screaming again. This time she was 102.9. Again, gave her medicine and she went back to sleep. When she wakes in the morning she vomited. About an hour later she vomited again. Saturday was a really long day.
Later that night she reaches 102.7. What in the world is going on with my little one? Again, more medicine. The next morning she wakes and seems much better. No fever and she is playful. Until she starts having diarrhea all day. Her fever stays down all day and she seems to be much better. Last night , she was awake every 30 minutes until I gave her more medicine. I am hoping today will bring back our healthy child with no fever, vomiting or diarrhea. Vince also is sick with a little cold which is nothing in comparison to what Morgan is going through. Joe and I are exhausted but we are hoping tonight will be a sleep filled night. Keeping my fingers crossed...

White Sox
Vince decided he wanted to play t-ball this year and not soccer. He was so excited to play something different, because I don't think soccer his is game. He is thrilled to go to practice and loves having a game. It has been a challenge to get to practice and games since school started but he is making it through, albeit, he is tired. Maybe we will see him in the big leagues one day! One can dream, can't she? :-)

First Day
Vince started his first day of Kindergarten on August 27th. He was so excited and ready to go. He did great and no crying at all. Of course, Mommy cried a lot and the few days that followed as well. He has had his first full week and was very tired but he still seems to enjoy it. I hope the novelty doesn't wear off and he continues to like. Hopefully, I will not cry anymore. I can't believe my baby is in big school. Hard to believe it's been five years since he was born.

Vuce to Bince
Morgan is really starting to talk. And I mean A LOT! When she would try to say Vince it would sound like "Vuce." We all started calling Vince "Vuce." Now, she has moved on to calling him "Bince." That is what his friends use to call him when they were Morgan's age. I think it is so cute and I am going to miss it when she starts saying Vince. I need to videotape it for the memories.

Disney/SeaWorld
Now that I am finally back to blogging, I thought I would finally add pictures from our trip to Disney and SeaWorld with Joe's parents. We went two months ago and we had the best time. I love vacationing there and it was wonderful for Vince and Morgan to see Granma and Grandpa. We don't get to see them often enough but when we do, it's great. Below are pictures from our fun filled trip. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoyed being there.
